A Message From Balance North Idaho

A message from President Eden Irgens of Balance North Idaho:

"We feel the need to clarify some misconceptions within the community about our role in this past Election: We are a PAC. We interviewed and endorsed candidates - then we marketed the candidates we endorsed. We participated in overall strategy development, but we did not run individual campaigns, nor did we organize volunteers. There was a mighty team of people who handled all of that - and they put in the hard work. Huge congratulations to the candidates and the incredible team of volunteers who walked neighborhoods, made phone calls and waved signs. BNI is in place purely to provide another voice and option in the community vs. the RR's. If they close shop, we will gladly follow suit. However, as long as they are actively pursuing control of every elected position in the County - Balance will be participating in the nonpartisan elections. We are not a membership based organization with weekly meetings. We are a true PAC. Some people don't like a PAC just because of the nature of PACs - but our intention is pure: to bring another voice/option to the community during non-partisan elections."

Question: Sounds like the Reagan Republicans can make Balance North Idaho go away ... if they go away. Sounds like a good deal to me. Thoughts?
