The home that has stood at the corner of West Lakeshore Drive and Military in the Fortgrounds area is gone and the lot fairly level, for construction of that controversial West Lakeshore Condominium project. (Actually, the house was scraped when I walked past it Wednesday, but I forgot to tell you about it.) I didn't check to see if two more Lake City Development Corporation houses were scraped on Park Drive, north of Memorial Field. I'll try to remember to do that next week.
