Ysursa Won't See Re-election

Secretary of State Ben Ysursa said Friday that he will not seek re-election next year after 12 years as the state's chief elections officer and 40 years in the office. Mitch Toryanski, R-Boise, also have expressed interest in the race/Dan Popkey, Idaho Statesman. More here. H/T: Sisyphus.

DFO: Lousy news. But well deserved retirement for a terrific public servant.
