Beeranagar: Pro/Con On WinCo

Beeranagar (RE: Checking out WinCo): Yep. Been there a couple of times. Off peak hours so I didn't experience the crowds. Good meat prices and good prices all around. I'm sure some of that was grand opening prices as well. Couple of quirks checking out but no big deal. Bagging your own groceries and not swiping your card until they are all done. Again, no big deal. figured it out after the first visit. All were friendly and I'm sure the boat loads of upper management there they were really trying. I'll be back.

Kim Knerl We went on Friday just to check it out and see how it would fit with our tastes. The entire store reminded me of being in Costco near those food sample tables where people go brain dead and leave their carts blocking the aisles for a scrap of food. It was extremely crowded, however, that will change over time. For us, we typically look for organic and/or non-GMO foods and WinCo lacks big time in that regard. Overall they clearly have better prices on many items when compared to other grocery store chains in the area, but likely we will continue to do most of our grocery shopping at Fred Meyer and Pilgrim's.

Question: When do you plan to visit WinCo?
