A Cycle Of Intimidation?

  • Mary Souza, from her new "Truth Page" posts in part: "Now I know they intend to dig it all up, so I am ready with the facts … facts which will show you the cycle of intimidation and how this city works, and will offer yet another essential reason we need responsible, respectful governance in our city!
  • Councilman Dan Gookin, who supports her, commenting recently on Facebook: "“They're afraid … Threats and intimidation run this town. People have to toe the line or they lose their jobs. HBO (Huckleberries Online?) is just a vehicle for those threats. The anger of those in power and their lackeys is due to fear. McEuen pushed the somnambulant masses into action. The power grip on this town is slipping, and may be lost entirely if the BNI candidates lose in November."

DFO: Am I the only one seeing a pattern here?

Question: Mary and her blog, OpenCDA.com (which she is now trying to distance herself from, has bashed the Bloem administration, Councilman Mike Kennedy, respected former county clerk Dan English, respected Secretary of State Ben Ysursa, and many civic leaders who have helped transform Coeur d'Alene. Do you suspect some of her usual targets felt threatened and intimidated by her?
