On my Facebook wall, Councilwoman Kerri Thoreson, a candidate for Post Falls mayor, responded to a post in which 28YO military veteran Jason Cornwell said the council needs younger people like him. Commented Kerri: "I believe Joe's about 36. Including the mayor, who's 77, Betty Ann, 81, Skip, 66, me 61, Ron, 58 and Linda, 57 the average age of the council right now is 62.2 years."
Question: I believe wisdom comes with age. Ninetysomething Frank Henderson, for example, is still serving his Post Falls district well in the Idaho House. Obviously, Frank is a unique public servant. Where would you set a mandatory retirement age for elected officials, if you were forced to do so? Please explain your answer.
