3 Vie For Goodlander Spot

In the Coeur d'Alene Press today, reporter Jeff Selle provided these three profiles on candidates running for the Coeur d'Alene City Council seat being vacated by Councilwoman Deanna Goodlander:

  • Kiki Miller: "If we are coasting, we are going downhill," she said. "We have to maintain that forward momentum and urban renewal is the only thing that I have been educated on, to date, that we can do it with." Profile here.
  • Noel Adam: "I have always put the interest of the people who sit across from me first and foremost," he said. "And I saw a lot of discontent with McEuen and how it was handled. They didn't listen." Profile here.
  • Gary Herfurth: Gary Herfurth is going on his second year in Coeur d'Alene. He admits that he doesn't have a firm grasp on many of the issues, but he still wants to get involved in the community. "I just feel that I can offer something, just as much as anyone else," he said. "I saw it in the paper and I am retired, so I thought that I would try it." Profile here.

Question: How would you rank these candidates on a 1-2-3 basis?
