Mom Loses Kids To Video Addiction

A woman who lost parental rights to her three children due to her addiction to an online role playing game has had her request to regain parental rights rejected by the Idaho Court of Appeals. The Coeur d’Alene Press reports in a story on Sunday the Court of Appeals upheld a North Idaho First District Court judge’s decision. Police in December 2010 responded to a noise complaint and found insufficient food in the home, a butcher knife near toys, and one child with severe tooth decay. The district court found that the woman chose to play “World of Warcraft” six to eight hours a day to meet group objectives in the game rather than take care of her children/Associated Press. Question: Do you know someone addicted to video games?
