Ex-Lt Gov Backs Widmyer Ticket

Jack Riggs, the former Republican Lt. Gov. of Idaho & CEO of Pita Pit USA (HQ @ 105 N4th), has sent a letter to HucksOnline Central, endorsing Steve Widmyer for mayor and Amy Evans, Woody McEvers & Kiki Miller for council. He writes:

"Unfortunately, as a lifelong resident, I believe that the failed RECALL CDA attempt last year created some of the ugliest and most divisive local political fallout in my lifetime. For reasons I do not really understand, in the past few years an anti-business, anti-change, anti-growth sentiment has arisen from some groups in this area. While claiming some sort of altruistic motives, those with this sentiment are not the friends of business, nor the promoters of commerce." Full letter here.
