Jeff Ward: Don’t Be Fooled Again

Huckleberries has been disappointed that Jeff Ward hasn't taken to his soapbox in Post Falls more often this fall to tell us Coeur d'Alene residents about the threat to democracy posed by non-Reagan Republican Stepford candidates. But he's back in full voice today:

"The status quo-anointed BNI slate will run on their superior "qualifications" (which simply means they are not pesky Republicans or annoying conservatives) and on a platform of "positive change" (which simply means keeping our tax dollars flowing into expensive downtown projects and exorbitant pubic salaries.) They will again call their opponents "negative" (which simply means someone who objects to their vision of giving our money to their cronies without asking our permission with a public vote) and "partisan" (which simply means someone who did not vote for Barack Obama.)" More here.

Question: I agree with Jeff on this one. Coeur d'Alene suffered a brain cramp two years ago when it elected Steve Adams and Dan Gookin to the City Council. Don't be fooled again. Thoughts?
