Councilman Woody McEvers has a slight edge in campaign fundraising so far this year, according to the 7-day pre-election disclosure reports. McEvers, the incumbent in the race for council seat No. 4, has raised $6,019 to Hebert's $5,526. McEvers raised most of his money during the latest reporting period, $5,100, including major donations of $1000 apiece from the Coeur d'Alene Firefights PAC and Boise Firefighters PAC and $500 apiece from the Coeur d'Alene Police Association and Coeur d'Alene Indian Tribe.
