Truth North Idaho Changes Story

After telling The Press by email Monday that the "Truth North Idaho PAC has not contacted any candidates, neither directly, nor through the auspices of a pen name,” Jeremy Morris, the person behind Truth North Idaho, issued a press release this afternoon which indicates otherwise. Morris points out, in the press release, that copies of emails his group elicited from Coeur d'Alene city election candidates are now posted on the Truth North Idaho website. The candidates' responses were generated by email inquiries from senders who claim to be "progressives." Below is a copy of an inquiry email sent to mayoral candidate Steve Widmyer by “Vince,” along with a copy of an email sent by a friend of “Vince’s" to council candidate Kiki Miller. A call placed yesterday to the number on the email to Widmyer was answered by Morris/Jeff Selle, Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

Question: Hmm. You're called Truth North Idaho but you can't keep story straight re: contact with City Council candidates? Seriously?
