... That today is the last day for talented Coeur d'Alene Press reporter Tom Hasslinger, who's leaving Coeur d'Alene to join former Press staffer Bill Buley at The Garden Island newspaper in Hawaii. Buley left for the islands earlier this year to become the paper's editor-in-chief. Hasslinger has done a good job covering local government for Mike Patrick's Press. He'll be missed.
