600 Absentee Ballots Mailed Out

Kootenai County Chief Deputy Clerk Pat Raffee announced that the first absentee ballots for the May 20 Primary election were mailed today.  “We mailed over 600 ballots.  Voters should be aware that ballots will have blacked out options because of candidate withdrawals,” said Raffee.  The candidate withdrawal deadline was 5PM today.
