Top Story: Toby Challenges Luke

Today's Most Commented Story: Toby Schindelbeck is running as a Republican for Idaho State House Representative Seat 4A against incumbent state Rep. Luke Malek. Schindelbeck is the owner of Nutrishop Sports Nutrition store in Coeur d'Alene, and has been in business for 16 years. ... Schindelbeck, 36, believes in personal property rights, the right to life, personal responsibility, state sovereignty, limited government, fewer restrictions on businesses and lower taxes. He also believes the Second Amendment is non-negotiable. "Too often, candidates run as conservatives to get elected, and then legislate like liberals once in office," his press release says. "I am not a politician or a slick-talking lawyer; I am a businessman who wants to serve my community and my state. If I am elected to represent Coeur d'Alene, I will carry my Christian conservative beliefs with me to Boise, and I will not compromise them in order to gain political favor or climb the political ladder. I am a man of my word"/Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

Question: Do you think Schindelbeck can upset Rep. Malek?
