Agencies Bust Kegger, Pot Party

A party involving more than 250 people was busted Friday night, leading to several arrests and citations as well as the seizure of alcohol and controlled substances. The Idaho State Police reported that bottles of liquor and alcoholic beverages, along with methamphetamine, marijuana and various derivatives of marijuana, mushrooms, cocaine and paraphernalia were confiscated from a residence on East Lookout Drive, above Hayden Lake. Information obtained by a member of the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force initiated a joint investigation involving the Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Control, the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force and the Idaho State Police Investigations District 1 office. The investigation identified a large party advertised as a "Mansion Bash" planned at the East Lookout residence, which was rented for the event. Organizers of the event anticipated attendance of approximately 300 people. The investigation resulted in a search warrant, which was served around 9:30 p.m./Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

DFO: This doesn't sound like your usual kegger. There was pot, cocaine & meth involved. Gotta wonder if this was condoned by at least some parents.
