Christie: City Fighting Homelessness

Christie Wood: City leadership is actively working to address homelessness with other community organizations. They have been successful in helping several families quit living on the streets. The Police Department has a spokesperson (me) and I speak on behalf of the Chief of Police. The Department has never taken a position blaming charitable organizations and City leaders for an increase in vagrancy. We will continue to enforce laws and charge individuals for criminal conduct. We will also continue to work with City leaders and community organizations to reduce homelessness in our community.

Question: All who are involved in fighting homelessness and poverty in this community deserve a monster hat tip, right?
