Rising Star — Luke Malek

Dunno how to break it to John Cross, Toby Schindelbeck and other Tea-publicans after Rep. Luke Malek's head, but Malek is considered a rising star by a national television program. In a segment that named two rising stars each from Idaho and Montana, Kristen Welker of MSNBC's “The Daily Rundown” listed Republican Malek and Democrat Holly Woodings as rising stars in Idaho. Malek, of course, earned the animosity of his party's Tea Party/Constitutionalist/Libertarian wing by leading a freshman coalition in support of the state health exchange. Woodings is running unopposed for Secretary of State.
