Nearly 100 brave individuals rappelled down the 40 stories and 490 feet of Seattle’s 1000 2nd Avenue Building as part of the Over The Edge fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Washington Saturday in Seattle, Wash. Participants are guaranteed a spot as long as they raise a minimum of $1,000 dollars -- the amount it costs to support nearly two Special Olympics athletes for an entire year. The event continues Sunday. (AP Photo/seattlepi.com, Jordan Stead)
