Badminton, Anyone?

It was hot Monday afternoon, but not enough to stop sisters-in-law Nav Hothi, above, and Kiran Hothi from a game against their husbands in Manito Park after a picnic. Nav Hothi said that they, like most people of Indian descent, grew up playing badminton. (SR photo: Jesse Tinsley)

DFO: I haven't played badminton for at least 10 years. Probably longer. I grew up playing baseball. However, Amy Dearest & Okie Doke have introduced me to bocce ball. Which is a lot more fun than croquet. I need to buy a nice set for my large back lawn.

Question: What sport did you grow up playing with your family?
