DeePee: I Fell In Love w/Patty Duke

DeePee (RE: Patty Duke discusses Robin Williams' death, mental illness): I fell in love with Anna/Patty as a teen watching The Parent Trap... She gives so much to your community; perhaps she'd be willing to give a reading at our monthly writers' readings at the NP Depot here in Wallace. We've never met, but I kept her boat from sinking one time at the Cd'A Yacht Club. Didn't know it was hers, just that wooden boats need be kept from harm's way.

DFO: I'm dating myself, but I fell in love with Patty Duke when she played the identical cousins on "The Patty Duke Show" (1963-66). Never could figure out which cousin I was most smitten with -- urbane Cathy Lane or Patty. Also, I have Patty Duke's album from those days sitting on my office desk, including her hit single, "Don't Just Stand There." Mike Kennedy got his aunt to autograph it for me.

Question: When did you fall in love with Patty Duke?
