Football Was Violent A Century Ago

Nils Rosdahl, former North Idaho College journalism instructor, dropped off his book of Spokesman-Review political cartoon drawn by William Morris, circa 1908. Seems Teddy Roosevelt was concerned about brutality in football. What do you suppose he would have thought of the modern college and NFL problem with concussions? (Click on photo for a bigger view)
