Huckleberries Trivia

At Bent's Summerfest 2011, during one of the thaws in their ebb-and-flow relationship, DFO & Councilman DanG hobnob while waiting for Bent to finish BBQing the chicken & beef. We staged a summerfest because Feb. 16 came and went without a celebration. We almost didn't have a blogfest that year. (Photo: Don Sausser)

With the 10th anniversary of Huckleberries only days away (Sunday, Feb. 16) and Blogfest 2014 scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15, I thought I would run some trivia questions this week for long-time Huckleberries readers:

Blogfest has had 3 official venues (not counting rudimentary attempts at the SR's CdA office and the Captain's Wheel in Bayview (where the small group was treated to Herb's wonderful potato salad. Can you name the three official venues of blogfests of more recent vintage. I'll give you the most obvious answer. Fort Ground Grill, of course, has been the venue for the last 4 or 5. What were the other two venues? Do you remember anything from blogfests held at those venues?

  • DFO: Anyone have photos of Blogfests Past? Feel free to send them in for publication this week.

If you're a reader/commenter/blogger or blurker in good standing (ask if you're not sure), you're invited to Blogfest 2014 from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Ground Grill. Food (Bent's BBQ, the Grill's side dishes & pop) will be provided by the SR. Let me know is you're coming.
