Arpie: Why We Hang Out Here

Arpie: The thing I love the most about this blog is the humor that you, DFO, allow, encourage, and seek out. The threads that twist, with changes in meaning. The serious thoughts skewed with a bent arrow of lightness. The deeper meanings and common humanity found in the ever present teasing and banter. Sherlock's turn of a pic today is a fine example, but there are threads like that so often that it keeps me coming back. I'm not sure how much I've changed since this blog started, And yes I was there at the beginning. But watching you, exactly 10 years older than me, change and grow in empathy and thoughtfulness, gives me hope that my next ten years will be fine ones too. Thanks DFO and fellow HBOers!

DFO: I appreciate how Arpie has captured the essence of what makes Huckleberries Online fun to visit and fun to compile. All of us have had a hand in making this a special place.
