Brannon Offers Boundary Tool

Kootenai County Clerk Jim Brannon reminds people who are considering running for office in the May 21, 2014 Primary Election that the County Elections Office has resources to assist them. “I have received numerous phone calls regarding districts” said Mr. Brannon.  “If a potential candidate wishes to verify the Commissioner or Legislative District in which they reside, helpful information is on the County’s Elections website.” By entering their residence address at http://www.kcgov.us/elections/search/  voters can learn the Commissioner and Legislative Districts which correspond to the address/County Clerk news release. More here.

Question: You don't suppose, in this day and age, that a candidate would announce for office in a district that he doesn't live in?
