2 Thumbs Up — ‘Saving Mr. Banks’

DFO: Earlier this week, Cindy asked which current movie would be a good one for family entertainment on New Year's Eve -- "Hobbit 2" of "Saving Mr. Banks." I now can say unequivocably ... both. I saw "Hobbit 2" a week ago -- and considered the plot, story development and characters far more appealing than the first movie of the second Hobbit trilogy. But I was blown away by the performances and story of "Saving Mr. Banks" -- the story behind Walt Disney's 20-year pursuit to win the film rights to "Mary Poppins." Someone said that the movie was deeper and darker than expected. But there are good laughs along the way. Treat yourself to both movies.

Question: Any other movies worth seeing this January?
