Wild Card/Thursday — 1.2.14

If you're looking for something to do that's fun and free, you might want to take a walk on the boardwalk after sundown. Mrs. O & I and relatives did just that New Year's afternoon and evening. We walked around the boardwalk as the lights on the many displays flickered on. And then walked around it again after dark. Wonderful display provided by the Coeur d'Alene Resort, especially the "fire-breathing" dragon at the southwest corner of the boardwalk. I had thought that the boardwalk was closed through the holidays. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. Here's your Wild Card ...
