MikeK: First Day In Rest Of My Life

On his Facebook wall, Councilman Mike Kennedy posts: Today is my last day after eight years as an elected member of the Coeur d'Alene City Council. For some reason recently I can't shake a gnawing focus on the things I wanted to do or get done but didn't. Today I'm going to enjoy the memories of the countless fantastic people whom I've met and worked with and especially those who gave me their time, support, and friendship. I am grateful to you all. This has been a fantastic experience and I'm excited for new challenges in the future. I'll be 45 in a few weeks and have many goals still to set and chase. Saying thank you is insufficient for my long-suffering wife Kathleen Kennedy and our seven wonderful kids, but it's sincere. I love you all.

Question: I'm of the opinion that Mike would have won re-election to a third term, if he'd elected to run again. What do you think?
