Mikayla Covert, 13, walks past "The Framework of Society" mural by Deidre Wilson on her way home from school last week in Shelley. The mural was painted in May as part of Daniel Borup's advanced art class at Shelley High School. According to Borup, the design took ten hours to paint and is one of four located in the city of Shelley. Every semester, students in Borup's advanced art class design their own mural and the top one is selected and painted somewhere in town. "I hope it's opening their eyes to the impact of art," Borup said. (Idaho Post-Register photo: Pat Sutphin)
