Handeen Launching Rival Luncheon

Hmm. Here's an interesting bit of internal GOP trivia. Bjorn Handeen, Precinct 52 committeeman, is launching weekly meetings for residents of his precinct in the Borah Triangle area. The GOPrecinct 52 meetings will begin at noon Thursdays at IHOP, 2301 N4th/CdA -- or the same time that the Reagan Republicans meet at Fedora restaurant. Kootenai County GOP CC poohbah Neil Oliver will be the first featured speaker for the weekly meetings, providing a "State of the County Republican Party" message on Jan. 30. He will be followed two weeks later, on Feb. 13, by appointed Republican county clerk Jim Brannon ("Preparing for the Primaries") and then on Feb. 20 by Precinct 12 Committeeman Bruce Maddux ("The Role of the Christian in a Representative Democracy"). Handeen emails: "We are committed to establishing a recurring luncheon event where Republicans of all varieties can come together and exchange ideas. We welcome Republicans from any precinct in the county, and beyond. We look forward to this, the beginning a new era of collaboration among all Republicans."

Question: Can the Handeen Republicans and the Reagan Republicans meet at the same time on the same day -- and still be part of "a new era of collaboration among all Republicans"?
