Eden: Infighting Saddens Me

EdeninCDA (RE: The penance of Glenn Beck): As there are countries with people literally facing war-like situations around the globe, it saddens me that this country is so divided with so much political in-fighting. We are all Americans living the the "United States." We don't have to agree on everything, but mutual respect would be nice. If another tragedy happened like 911, I know this infighting would stop immediately, and we would all band together. Lets come together and find common ground while respecting our differences. We are weakest when we are not united for our country.

Question: Mebbe we should resolve, as a local blogosphere, not to support divisive people in the local primary and general elections of 2014? It might mean holding our noses & choosing the lesser of 2 evils in the GOPrimary. What do you think?
