Idaho Dad: Bad Dad Ruins Outing

On his A Family Runs Through It blog, Idaho Dad writes of an encounter with a "bad dad" during a trip to a local sporting goods store. Idaho Dad was looking for fleece vest. Nearby, an agitated father called for his two young sons who'd wandered off about 30 feet to look at T-shirts with funny messages. That's where we pick up the story:

Then he said, again very loudly, 'Okay, square up so I can kick you in the nuts for being idiots.' And then he actually pretended to kick them both in the crotch. On the list of Bad Dad offenses, this one’s certainly not horrible. But still, I’m reasonably sure that a threat to 'kick you in the nuts' is not the best way to teach a lesson to young children."

Thoughts?
