  • 11:59 a.m. Female driver in red mini-van slid off H41 into fence, near Prairie Avenue/Rathdrum Prairie.
  • 11:30 a.m. Caller reports possibly drunken couple trying to stop motorists to get ride on Sunnyside/CdA.
  • 11:25 a.m. Non-injury, 2-vehicle crash reported  15th Street/Lunceford Avenue, CdA.
  • 11:17 a.m. 2-vehicle crash is blocking w/b lanes @ intersection of H41/Seltice Way, Post Falls.
  • 11:07 a.m. Fernan Lake Road is closed, near Fernan Lake Court, so tow truck can pull truck from lake (10:10 item).
  • 11:03 a.m. Residential alarm sounding @ H95/Marina Drive, CdA.
  • 10:10 a.m. Kootenai County plow truck slid off Fernan Lake Road, onto lake ice. Now at 80-degree downhill angle.
  • 10:07 a.m. Officer en route to juvenile hall w/Post Falls Middle School student.
  • 9:51 a.m. PFHS teacher reports seeing student fall on snow/ice on baseball field, then climb fence.
  • 9:20 a.m. A disabled, tan Chevy Blazer w/flashers on is blocking right lane @ s/b H95/MP 436.9 (Lancaster/Hayden).
  • 9:16 a.m. Fed Ex truck has spun on I-90 & is now facing w/b in e/b lanes @ M/P 4 (McGuire Road overpass).
  • 9:12 a.m. 2-vehicle crash is blocking Greensferry/Poleline Road, Post Falls, no injuries.
  • 8:54 a.m. Male reports to KCSD that his soon-to-be ex forged his name on a check.
  • 8:40 a.m. Caller reports flames on Majestic, east of Meyer/Rathdrum (later learned to be controlled burn).
  • 8:26 a.m. 83YO female has fallen at Heritage Place, 702 E. Walnut Ave/CdA.
  • 6:06 a.m. We are currently experiencing heavy winter driving conditions.  Please allow for extra time if you need to travel on the roadways today.  The roads on I90 around 4th of July are heavily covered in snow.  We are having multiple crashes and slide offs.
