The snow is flying and frigid temperatures have gripped the area, but work progresses on the McEuen Park project in downtown Coeur d’Alene. During the weekly McEuen Park update on Wednesday, officials said electrical and carpentry work is proceeding and crews are also making progress on elevator shafts and stairways that will lift people from the sub-level parking structure to Front Avenue above. “You may not see it, but there is a lot of interior building going on,” said project engineer Phil Boyd of Welch Comer Engineers. Crews are continuing their preparation work to pour the last segment of sidewalk on the north side of Front Avenue between Fifth and Sixth streets/Keith Erickson, Coeur d'Alene Today. More here.
