Monday Poll: It appears that the public perception of local police has been shaken somewhat as a result of 2 recent shootouts and the "Nickelback" snafu involving 2 sheriff's deputies. 60 of 123 respondents (48.78%) said they had as much faith in local police today as they did before the recent incidents. However, 53 of 123 respondents (43.09%) said they had less faith in local police today than they did before. 10 (8.13%) were undecided.
