Wild Card/Thursday — 7.3.14

The 4th of July and hot temperatures are upon us as we approach a three-day holiday. I don't have anything on the agenda for tomorrow, other than the parade (probably) and hanging with friends for a barbecue in the late afternoon and evening. Some fool began shooting off bottle rockets behind our house last evening. But Huckleberry the Beagle seemed to handle it in stride. So all's good. I won't be here tomorrow. Then, you probably won't either. But as Scarlett said: “I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow.” Meanwhile, I have the blog maw to feed now. So here's your Wild Card …
