  • 11:42 a.m. Silent holdup alarm sounding @ Panhandle State Bank, 6878 Highway 53/Rathdrum.
  • 11:38 a.m. Austistic child is hitting mother @ John Brown Elementary/Rathdrum.
  • 11:08 a.m. 3 young bucks are causing traffic hazard @ Prairie Avenue/Ramsey Road, Hayden.
  • 11:05 a.m. A pile of garbage is causing traffic hazard @ H53/MP 5.5 (near Greensferry/Rathdrum).
  • 9:59 a.m. CPD release: Coeur d’Alene Police and Fire fighters identified the device as a small pipe bomb. It was outside the school, on the ground on the west side of the building. No students or staff were occupying the building at the time.Officers contacted Spokane Bomb Squad and they responded very quickly to the scene. The Bomb Squad contained and neutralized the device. Streets have been opened up to normal traffic.
  • 9:36 a.m. Undisclosed animal problem reported on Best Avenue/CdA.
  • 8:57 a.m. Deputy's vehicle is stuck in ditch @ Latour Creek/Skeel Gulch Road, Cataldo; needs tow.
  • 8:41 a.m. A naked male is waving @ traffic in middle of road @ Bitter/Rew, Worley; no one will stop for him.
  • 7:40 a.m. CPD release: "Coeur d’Alene Police are on scene at Lakes Middle School at 930 N. 15th St. for the report of a suspicious device found on the west side of the school outside. Officers have shut down streets near the school until the device can be rendered safe. Citizens are asked to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
