Suit Claims Sprouts Caused E. coli

A lawsuit has been filed against Evergreen Sprouts, who was linked to an E. coli outbreak, by a woman who got sick. The defendant, Robin Rae Happeny bought a turkey sandwich from Daanen’s Delicatessen’s restaurant in Hayden, Idaho on April 27. The lawsuit claims the sandwich contained E. coli tainted clover sprouts that had been manufactured and sold by Evergreen Sprouts. The lawyer representing Happeny said her symptoms started on May 6 and on May 14 she tested positive for E Coli./KREM. More here.

Question: Are you ever concerned that you might be exposed to illness as a result of the ingredients in the fast food that you eat?
