On her Facebook wall, Kerri Thoreson posts: "Flight School Saturday for at least a dozen of our resident sparrow fledglings. They've been practicing flying from trees to feeder to fence rail. They also hop about on the front sidewalk and look for bugs in the grass. Their parents keep an eye on them from afar. I enjoy watching the circle of life unfolding right outside the window."
