On Monday, Post Falls police and Kootenai County Fire & Rescue rescue a dog that appears to have fallen into a ditch, according to PFPD Facebook page. The dog does not appear to have any broken bones or major injuries at this time. The dog is currently being treated for dehydration and neglect. "We think the dog had been there for at least two days and if it had not been rescued it would have perished. We do not believe the dog was shot it looks like he just fell down," said the PFPD Facebook page. PFPD is looking for information re: owner of the dog. (Photo: PFPD Facebook)
