City Seeks Comment On ‘15 Budget
The city of Coeur d’Alene has published its proposed 2014-15 budget online and encourages public comment on the spending plan. To view the budget, visit cdaid.org/finance and click on Preliminary Budget. To comment on the budget, go to cdaid.org and click on Message the Mayor on the homepage. “The city wants to hear from the community about the budget,” said Mayor Steve Widmyer. “The council worked hard to offer a spending plan includes a zero percent increase in property taxes and is $3.3 million lower than last year’s budget.” There will be a public hearing on the proposed budget on Tuesday, September 2, during the regular City Council meeting at the Community Room of the Public Library.
