PM Scanner Traffic — 7.31.14

PFPD Facebook: Kal’s Auto Sales, located on Seltice Way in Post Falls, reported that two vehicles had been burglarized sometime between 8:50 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Friday. The male suspect pictured below was wearing darker shorts and a light-colored t-shirt with an unknown design on the front and back. The suspect arrived on what appears to be a smaller female’s bicycle, possible white frame and seat. After he steals a stereo from one of the vehicles, the suspect heads west out of the lot. These burglaries were committed while it was still daylight and moderate traffic on Seltice Way. Also, La Cabana was still open.

  • 4:57 p.m. Fireman seeking source of smoke in attic @ 205 N. Park/CdA (opposite City Park in Fortgrounds neighborhood) reports temperature of 120 degrees.
  • 4:49 p.m. Someone injured in a fall @ 6900 block of Legacy/CdA.
  • 4:40 p.m. Driver of black Toyota @ e/b I-90/stateline, w/Bonneville County plates, is driving recklessly.
  • 4:26 p.m. Driver of Peterbilt truck @ w/b I-90/MP 21 (Vets Memorial Bridge) has driven 2 motorist off freeway.
  • 4:15 p.m. Coeur d'Alene Police Department activities report for July 30-31 here.
  • 4:06 p.m. Deputy en route to domestic fight told multi-calls from address, which usually involve verbal disputes in which male tells female to leave residence.
  • 3:51 p.m. Someone injured in a fall @ 700 block of Sherman Avenue/downtown CdA.
  • 2:58 p.m. Motorhome has run out of gas @ w/b I-90/MP 16 (Sherman Avenue), blocking lane on blind corner.
  • 3:50 p.m. Someone is unconscious @ 2100 block of Sherman Avenue/CdA.
  • 2:40 a.m. Timberlake Fire EMTs responding to unconscious person @ Silverwood.
  • 2:09 p.m. Female driving stock has lost trailer wheel, having hard time keeping animals in, unknown highway location.
  • 2:05 p.m. Someone needs help getting up after fall @ 700 block of W. Ironwood Drive, north parking lot.
  • 1:08 p.m. Someone trying to reclaim stolen property on Iron Horse Circle/Post Falls.
  • 1:04 p.m. Deputy is looking for 22-foot pontoon boat off Boothe Park/Lake Coeur d'Alene, unknown reason.
  • 12:59 p.m. Fed Ex truck, red vehicle involved in noninjury crash @ Ramsey Road/Wyoming, Hayden, blocking.
