Jones Has 70-to-1 Edge In Supt $$$
Unopposed in the Democratic primary, state superintendent’s candidate Jana Jones, pictured, enters the general election with more than a 70-to-1 advantage in cash on hand. The fundraising in the superintendent’s race has been relatively modest — on both sides. But Jones has more than $20,000 in her campaign account, according to campaign finance reports filed this week. Ybarra, the Republicans’ surprise nominee for state superintendent, goes into the general election with less than $300 on hand. This week was the deadline for all statewide candidates to file post-primary finance reports/Kevin Richert, Idaho Statesman. More here.
