Local GOP To Meet Tuesday
The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee will discuss four resolutions when it meets Tuesday evening at the Kootenai County administrative building. The resolutions include one that calls for buying a Quick Books program to aid in an audit of the local GOP's books from Jan. 1, 2004, until Dec. 31, 2013. The minority mainstream wing of the local GOP has been lobbying for an audit of the books for two years. Other resolutions involve immigration and a request that the state GOP clarify code problems involving seating of delegates at the state convention, an issue that caused much turmoil at the annual gathering in Moscow this month.
