911 Artifact Coming To Lake City

The last I-beam artifact of the World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001, is currently in transit on Interstate 90 and will be stopping at the Coeur d’Alene Fire Station 3 at 1500 N. 15th Street late Wednesday afternoon. The public is invited to visit the fire station to view the beam. The fire department will post a message on its Facebook page and Tweet the information when a time is secured. Viewing the artifact is reported to be moving experience and remains as it was recovered after the collapse and search efforts. The truck carrying the artifact will depart for Spokane Thursday morning and will make at stop at Fire Station No. 4, 616 W. Hastings/Coeur d'Alene Today.
