Edit: Guns On Campus In, Liberty Out

Idaho lawmakers didn’t care whom they offended when they rammed through the 2014 session’s worst policy. But the most significant result of Idaho’s ill-conceived guns on campus law is the expansion of the police state into our public colleges and universities, plain and simple. Idaho State University announced last week that it will arm its security force about the same time students with enhanced concealed-carry permits and former police can start packing heat in Biology 101. Boise State University has submitted a plan to the state Board of Education to do the same in three to five years, after boosting the number of security officers on campus, said school spokesman Greg Hahn.
