Take-Out Windows

Mrs. O and I have this thing re: drive-up windows at restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, banks, etc. She's all for them. Me? Not so much. I prefer to park my vehicle and go inside whatever business I'm dealing with. Case in point. In returning from Portland during our recent vacay, we dropped by Starbucks for a coffee and mocha for the road. I insisted on going in because there was a long line of cars at the drive-up window. I don't like wasted costly gas and breathing fumes in such a line. However, it was a draw re: the speed of service. We received our drinks about the same time we would have if we'd used the drive-up window. Mrs. O gave me an "I told you so" look for my efforts at conserving fuel. How about you?

Question: Do you prefer drive-up windows when patronizing businesses that have them?
