Huckleberries Hears …

... That state Rep. Kathy Sims, R-Coeur d'Alene, is telling people that she expects former Coeur d'Alene councilman Mike Kennedy to run for her House District 4 seat this year. Only that ain't gonna happen. Kennedy told Huckleberries he's content in doing whatever he didn't have time to do during his 8 years on the City Council, battling Reagan Republicans, CAVErs and election lawsuits. Another rumor has it that Kennedy will file his candidacy for county clerk to hold the place for the Democrats against his former council challenger Jim Brannon (if Brannon defeats former legislator Don Pischner). Kennedy told Huckleberries again that the rumor is not true. But he appreciates living rent-free in the minds of some Republicans.

Question: Can you think of some good candidacy rumors involving that ol' GOP debbil, Mike Kennedy, to begin swirling about?
