E-Zine: Don’t Send Grads To Idaho

The Fiscal Times, a Washington D.C.-based online publication, is scolding Idaho for passage of its guns-on-campus bill. Under  the headline “Why You Shouldn’t Send Your Child to An Idaho College,” Fiscal Times Managing Editor Maureen Mackey blogged: “If your children attend or visit these schools, they are not safe.”Fiscal Times quotes Bob Kustra, Boise State University president: “I’m very uncomfortable with the thought of our campus and others in Idaho being the testing grounds…in an experiment with an unpredictable outcome.” Both houses of the Legislature overwhelmingly voted for the bill that would allow concealed weapons on campus. The bill is now before Gov. Butch Otter, who says he supports it/Bill Roberts, Idaho Statesman. More here.
