Precinct Officials Get Gun Perk, Too?

  • JTyler (RE: Just Butch being Butch): A few years ago I had a nice conversation with a very well known Democrat leader locally. She told me she was glad that as a elected committeewoman she was able to carry her gun as she went door to door with election info in this conservative community. Boy do opinions change with the winds.
  • DFO: Wait just a dang minute. Are you trying to tell me that elected Precinct Committee men and women can pack a concealed weapon without a permit, too?  I wouldn't trust some of our local precinct committee people to carry gum let alone a gun without a proper permit.

Question: Do you think precinct committeemen/women should be allowed to carry concealed weapons without obtaining a concealed weapons permit?
